You can learn geological features at Tsukuba Plum Grove Park on Mt. Tsukuba from Geo-guide mainly in English as we walk. We will welcome “Geo” beginners!

Number of Participants: 15 people *Application needed in advance. First-come basis.
Fee: 100 yen (Accident insurance fee)
What to bring: Walking shoes, drinks, hat, hand towel and rain gear.

By Bus: Take a nonstop shuttle bus for Mt. Tsukuba at Tsukuba Center(Tsukuba sta.) and get off at Entrance of Mt. Tsukuba Shrine (About 40 minutes ride). It’s about 5 minutes’ walk from the bus stop to Tsukuba Plum Grove Park. It costs 720 yen for one way.

By car: It takes about 40 minutes by car from Tsukuba station. It is required to pay 500 yen for parking at City Toll Parking.
